Tripett Green
Tripe for Dogs
is the highly palatable and easily digested stomach
lining and stomach contents of cattle (or now Lamb and Venison) containing partially
digested grasses and grains, digestive enzymes, gastric juices, amino acids,
essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) and an exceptional balance of calcium
to phosphorus. Known by top breeders in Canada as the best all natural dog food
available.
Why Feed Green Tripe?
As carnivores, dogs and cats have an instinctive desire to eat nutrient-rich
green tripe. They cannot convert vegetation into nutrients within their own
stomach, but, when they eat tripe, they receive these nutrients from grasses
and grains that have been already processed naturally by the cow's stomach
system. Also present within the tripe are naturally occurring gastric
juices, amino acids and other digestive enzymes not found in other pet food.
These gastric juices and enzymes aid pets in digestion to efficiently
utilize food for maximum nutrition. Amino acids are necessary for muscular
development and other gastric juices are excellent cleaners for teeth. Green
tripe contains a healthy and proportional range of bio-chemicals by weight
and volume. It contains Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids and has an
exceptional balance of calcium to phosphorus. The overall pH is slightly
acidic, which is better for digestion.
Why Tripett Green Tripe versus the tripe at the grocery store?
Tripett is the ONLY canned version of 100% green beef tripe. It's called
"green" because it's made from tripe that is pure and unbleached unlike the
tripe at the grocery store. By leaving it "green", the tripe retains all of
the nutrients from the partially digested grasses and grains in the stomach.
No preservatives, fillers or artificial coloring agents are used. Originally
formulated for dog breeders in 1988, Tripett offers the most convenient
method to serve green tripe and has been available to the public through
high quality pet food retailers since 2000. It is the Original and simply
the best. Tripett is used by multiple winners on dog show circuits
everywhere.
Is feeding green tripe well known?
Green tripe is quite popular amongst breeders, show people, handlers, and
owners who feed BARF diets (biologically appropriate raw food/bones and raw
food). It is also very common in England. Dogs with green tripe in their
diets display a better coat and an overall healthier appearance. Many blue
ribbons have been won over the years by dogs that have green tripe included
in their diets. Tripett is also common with owners that have picky eaters or
allergic animals.
Benefits of eating Tripett include:
• Improved appetite and digestion
•
